Melissa Martin, R-YFT, YF Lead Trainer
Melissa is a wife and mom to three boys. When she is not cheering on her boys at football, soccer, golf or cross country she can be found on her yoga mat. Melissa began practicing yoga over ten years ago. She was introduced to the concept of faith-based yoga at her church in Atlanta. She quickly fell in love with the practice because of the many physical, mental and spiritual benefits that yoga provides. Upon moving to a small town in 2012, Melissa realized that while there were many local options for practicing yoga, none were faith-based. In 2015, after a difficult year that included the death of her father, her mother-in-law’s lung cancer diagnosis and the discovery that her youngest son had permanent hearing loss, Melissa was encouraged by a counselor to make yoga a daily part of her life. It was on the yoga mat that she felt that God was calling her to bring faith-based yoga to Madison, Georgia. She currently teaches four YogaFaith classes each week.
Melissa has been an anchor and source of strength for many leaders and students within the YogaFaith family. She has been a constant lighthouse within her community and at each immersion. We know that you will be incredibly blessed by her grace and strength at immersion.
Kelly McLellan, R-YFT
Kelly began the path of yoga almost 25 years ago while attending the University of Florida where she received her Bachelors degree in Psychology and her Masters degree in Health Science Education, specializing in holistic health. She has been teaching health and wellness for over 20 years. She is a faculty member at Montreat College where she teaches classes that blend the ancient practice of classical yoga with sacred Christian scriptures. She is a lover of God and follower of Jesus- studying His life and teachings and learning to live and love with His heart.
Kelly firmly believes in the power of yoga as a tool for integrating the person as a whole: body, mind and spirit. She understands yoga to be a spiritual discipline, using the practice to “still the turnings of the mind” in order to rest in the sovereignty and perfect love of God.
Kelly lives Black Mountain, NC with her husband and their two children. When she is not on her mat, you can find her hanging out with friends and family, homeschooling her teens, gardening, making jewelry and other art, playing with her dog or reading and contemplating life’s deepest questions.
YogaFaith is honored to have Kelly pour her heart and soul into you! She has many gifts and we know that you will walk away changed by her teachings and offerings at immersion. We are immensely grateful for her wisdom, friendship, and leadership at YogaFaith!
Hollie Lytle, R-YFT
Finishing a competitive swimming career after college, Hollie originally sought yoga for an exciting new challenge yet quiet refuge in a noisy life. Once diagnosed with an almost 60-degree curve in her spine, the practice took on a whole new meaning. Practicing yoga keeps her out of traditional office physical therapy and has given healing to her bones! She began practicing more than ten years ago and is trained in both Hatha and Ashtanga.
Hollie has found YogaFaith to be such a blessing in connecting the mind, body, and soul to Jesus, deepening relationship with God and opening new doors for praise and worship. Her intentions are to serve and guide students/warriors into a new-found expression of confidence and strength all while in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20
Currently living in the North Georgia mountains with her family, she is the owner of Lytlefoto, a photography studio that was established in 2006. She believes that our testimony is warfare against darkness and is passionate about the sharing of story through images.
We are elated to once again have Hollie pour into you at immersion! You’ll never be the same!
Victoria Grace Nolen, R-TSYF, YF-A
Victoria is a yoga instructor, Trauma Sensitive YogaFaith instructor, and a psychotherapist. Fascinated by yoga as a child, Victoria fulfilled her dream late in college and has practiced yoga since 2012. Yoga has served as the greatest tool in her own physical, spiritual, and emotional healing journey. Her passion is to, as her own counselor has said, give away what she have been given. Always the adventurer and seeker, she discovered her greatest passion when she found Yoga Faith and the tremendous gift of praising, thanking, and surrendering to Jesus through movement.
Victoria’s love for teaching yoga stems from the joy of creating a safe, sacred, and relaxing space where people of all ages and backgrounds can come to move, breathe, connect, and belong. Along with yoga, she finds great delight in dancing, daffodils, the magic of fall, and gatherings of loved ones around coffee or a campfire.
Victoria currently teaches in Clarkesville, GA and lives in the mountain foothills of Toccoa, GA with her husband.
We couldn’t be more proud of to call Victoria sister and YogaFaither! You will laugh and most likely cry as you experience TSYF and embodied movement with this light carrier!
Sally Mateer, R-YFT

Michelle Thielen, R-CYAMT, YF Lead Trainer
Michelle will be with you for the online portion of your training prior to immersion. UPDATE* She will be WITH you!
Michelle began studying and practicing yoga in the late 80’s while professionally dancing in Portland, Oregon where she was born and raised. Eventually the love of yoga and it’s numerous benefits led her into instructing and sharing the wonderful gift of yoga with others, but it was her passion for Christ that led her to YogaFaith.
She has been registered with the American Council of Exercise since 2009, a Master Trainer with the Christian Yoga Association and has been teaching somatic movement through dance and yoga for over 20 years. As an international speaker and author of the widely popular Christian Yoga book, Stretching Your Faith, Michelle has trained over 2000 students in becoming highly skilled yoga trainers, living a life on purpose and in confidence.
I look forward to this journey with you where we are going to dive so deep into Christ and what He has for you here on earth that you will wish you had come sooner! God has something HUGE awaiting you and I can’t wait to see what it is!
