Meet Your Hosts
Michelle Thielen | Seattle, WA
C-IAYT, R-CYATH
Michelle has been registered with the American Council of Exercise since 2009, is a Certified Yoga Therapist an international speaker and author of the widely popular Christian Yoga book, Stretching Your Faith. She has taken hundreds of students into highly skilled yoga trainers and confident leaders with over 200 Teacher Trainings.
She began studying and practicing yoga in the late 80’s while professionally dancing in Portland, Oregon where she was born and raised. Eventually the love of yoga and its numerous benefits led her into instructing and sharing the wonderful gift of yoga with others, but it was her passion for Christ that led her to YogaFaith. She has been instrumental in helping others heal through yoga and faith, but it is God the Almighty that is glorified in the true transformation of people. There have been hundreds of miracle healings and testimonies of surrender and restoration through YogaFaith classes.

MaryAnn Sander | Milwaukee, WI
R-YFMT 500, YF-LMT
MaryAnn is a self-proclaimed “cheesehead” and lives in the Milwaukee area. In addition to being a Lead Master Trainer with YogaFaith, MaryAnn is a home church pastor and mentor through Brew City Church. MaryAnn has a heart and passion for God, for teaching and for serving and she’s had it her entire life.
In addition to being a current YogaFaith trainer, I have also taught and served in the fields of public education, hairdressing, and theatre/dance.
It was by the continued leading of the Spirit that MaryAnn’s life journey intersected with YogaFaith. She completed her first YogaFaith 200hr training in 2017 and has not looked back since! Megan Steele | Salem, OR
R-YFMT 500, YF-A
Megan’s wellness journey began in 2008 when she became certified in Family Herbalism (FH) with the Franklin Institute of Wellness. She began integrating her love of God and nature with her desire for health for friends and family.
After spending most of her adult life in fight-or-flight mode, she decided to bravely try attending her first yoga class and was hooked! Wanting to bring the beauty of yoga to everyone she met, she found YogaFaith and immediately started the certification process in 2019… which is the same year she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Even with breast cancer now on her resume, she was able to receive her R-YFT 200 in October of 2020, and her Masters certification (R-YFMT 500) in July of 2021! She can now bring this magnificent practice to everyone she meets and calls this experience “Street Cred” and shares her practice and offers at Street Cred LLC.

Immersion begins Friday 7/21/23 with check-in at 9:30 am. First Session at 10am PST.
Graduation on Tuesday 7/25/23 at approximately 3 pm PST.
Please schedule return flights after 6pm on 7/25 or you are welcome to fly out the next morning.

- January – July 2023 – Small group accountability groups journey through each module each month together.
- Students may also begin Master Modules after Immersion to complete a full 500 hour certification. Completion before immersion is not required.
- Immersion days are a combination of lecture and asana.
- Asana is not required, being present is.
- Asana is never scheduled after mealtimes.
- Days begin 7/8 am and conclude around 9/10 pm.
