Continuing Education / Renew Your Yoga Faith Certificate
YogaFaith Continued Education Credit Policy
What are continuing education credits?
Continuing education credits are a measurement tool in the industry to make sure students are keeping current and relevant with changes in the industry. The Yoga Industry requires a certain number of CECs every two years.
Yoga Faith requires 2.0 CECs or 20 hours of continuing education every 2 years to renew your Yoga Faith Certificate and remain in good standing.
We hope the following information serves as a guide in understanding the importance and ways to obtain Continuing Education Credits, also known as units (CEUs).
Certification Renewal Application
A YogaFaith® Certification demonstrates you have completed all standards, curriculum and credentials for a particular course. It is essential to maintain credentials from the school or accrediting agency where you received your certification, such as YogaFaith.
Yoga Faith is recognized by several organizations including the Christian Yoga Association, Yoga Alliance, International Association of Yoga Therapists and several others. You can choose to belong to any of these organizations depending on your level of education, but are not required to belong to any of them.
YogaFaith® Certifications are valid for 2 years. CEC’s should be accrued for the current certification cycle and cannot be applied to future cycles. Any CEC’s prior to becoming certified do not count as CECs. Only new areas of studies are considered to be continued education.
Renewals can be completed through on online application process. 200 and 300 hour renewals are $100 every 2 years and include a new certificate. Specialty Training Renewals are $50 every 2 years.
YF requires a minimum of 2.0 CEC’s or 20 hours every two years in order to be current with safety standards and ongoing educational requirements. A minimum of 10 hours (1 CEU) must be in person, the other 10 hours can be distant learning or non contact hours. See more details here: YF Continued Education Credit Policy.
